Popeye Village

If you follow anyone who has been to Malta, we’re sure you’ve come across a shot of Popeye Village. The location was once built to backdrop Robin William’s Popeye and was left intact to serve as an entertainment complex for all ages. Head on out to Mellieha if you want to grab a shot of this beauty.

Marsaxlokk Harbour 

The traditional Maltese luzzu and fish market are particularly iconic of the maritime Marsaxlokk. If you decide to head to this humble location for a pristine shot, make sure to stop long enough to indulge in the fresh pick of the day. 

 

 

Blue Grotto

Get lost in the mystic Blue Grotto with a trusty friend who knows their angles. Take a cosmic-travelling boat ride and explore this natural beauty located in Zurrieq. We don’t know about you, but we sure know pictures of the Blue Grotto has won us numerous followers before.

 

 

Valletta

Valletta isn’t going to be 2018’s European Capital of Culture for nothing. The city built as an homage to its founder features several instagrammable nooks. Amongst them are the; Upper Baraka, Waterfront and quiet side roads. The firing of cannons at noon make for a spectacular shot especially. 

 

 

Balluta 

If you’ve checked out #Malta before we’re sure you’ve caught a glimpse of the Carmelite Church before. The beautiful gothic church is situated on the promenade of Balluta, in St.Julians. Balluta is lined with exquisite restaurants and overlooks a stunning bay. The location is most definitely instagrammable.

Mdina

Mdina’s streets are the perfect spot for a touristic selfie. We dare you to find the iconic blue door featured in most Mdina photos on instagram and steal a shot there. If you can’t locate the door, fear not, any corner in Mdina will do. The silent city is beautiful altogether. 

 

 

Underwater 

Did you know Malta is known for its underwater scene? In fact the island is full of diving centres. If you’re interested in a closer inspection of the sea, head on out to an instructing base and get equipped with a suit and tank. The experience will be worth the gorgeous shot!
